I will leave work after being there for less than 9.5 hours. That day will not be tomorrow, however, because I am being grownup and mature and going to an after-hours session on our new health care options from 5-6. Yeah.

(Thus far, I am at 9.5, 10.25, and 9.4 hours, respectively, and on two of those three days, even my lunch time was not my own (two meetings.) And today, I had all of 15 minutes for it before getting upstairs to get ready for my homeroom.)

Tomorrow is all day meetings and panels and discussions on assessment, ugh. (Especially since, hi, librarian, I do not do assessment, so I cannot even amuse myself with 'here is how I would implement in my own classroom' in the tedious bits (and assessment's one of the few areas that doesn't cross over well into the Pagan teaching I do either. Because, yeah, I assess, but we don't exactly grade, y'know?) Actually, the afternoon panel should be very good, as it's on one-to-one laptop use, with someone who's highly reputed in that area, but that still leaves the morning.)

Homeroom is, however, adorable. Whether or not I can still put names with faces on Tuesday remains to be seen. (I think I'm straight on the girls, actually, but the boys all look a bit more alike.) And I had a very productive conversation with the previous newspaper advisor, and with my co-advisor, so that's good.

I'm still here, 2.5 hours after the developers told me "this commit should be done within the hour" (when it's done I have to make a change to my stuff to match it). It's been that kind of week for me as well.

Something's wrong with your footer thingie that links back to Dreamwidth. I had trouble with writing a custom one...I didn't realize that it wouldn't be automatically in small print like the original.

Ah, looks like they used <span> to be "correct". I'm lazier than that, and went with <small>.
