jenett1) I am sitting in the library hallway blocking entrance to the library. (The Juniors are doing a wellness seminar talking about drug and alcohol use) Our esteemed students remain incapable of reading a sign on the library door saying "Libary closed during TASC period")
I am starting to ponder questions of the Monty Python type, to allow people in.
2) I have just been asked if I can be bribed not to play in the Faculty-Student Quiz Bowl tomorrow. (Faculty have beaten students for the last 8 years or so, but the student teams are really good this year.) I said "No, but you can try bribing [teacher who'll be reading the questions] to ask about things after 1750, where I'm a lot weaker." Student was amused.
(Last year, they hit mythology, which is sort of a "No, duh" for me.)

Date: 2010-02-17 10:55 pm (UTC)(The Quiz bowl should be fun. We won by a *lot* last year, because we got lucky with subjects, mostly, and the addition of a math teacher who's amazing at doing stuff fast in his head. I'd really rather prefer that it be a lot closer, though - way more fun.)
