Yep. Mom started from western France, and did it, I think, in three or maybe four doses. She had a fabulous time, and a really powerful one, too.
I know she found the British society that's focused on supporting Compostela pilgrims very helpful, too - they've got books and maps and meetings for people who are interested to chat with people who've done it.
