I just ran the actual stats per days of work. I'm averaging a 9.83 hour day at work so far this year (total hours, which I have been tracking by category of work, divided by number of actual days). Erm. Yes. This would explain the being tired all the time part, and the I have no brain problems when I'm not at work. And, on average, over 6 hours of that time each day is directly student facing. (5.4 for being out in the main library, .7 for the paper, give or take a little.)

However, plan 'take computer and find a coffee shop and actually write documentation I've been trying to get done for 2 months' was a success:

I've got two of the four documents I eventually want done totally done (they just need proofing), and the other two will be a lot faster. (One is an explanation of what we need on an invoice for Title to pay, the other is setting up a faculty coach contract, and a chunk of that is already written.) Couple of hours at the coffee shop, bunch more time at home - I've done about 6 hours on this project today, not including the 5 hours at work doing other things in the morning, but I feel really good about actually getting it *dealt* with.

I also had a very excellent lunch out at the Midtown Market with D, and we had a good chat about many things, including my picking his brain about future Pagan Pride plans. I even got bonus M - CotP's covenstead household got hit by H1N1, and M works with caregivers of people with dementia, hence also often immune system issues for other reasons, and so had been encouraged to work from home for a couple of days. (I also get dinner with both of them next week, which I am very much looking forward to. M's been buried under grad school stuff until last week or so, so I have seen very little of him in particular, and I miss just hanging out and talking to him.)

And, now I should go to bed, because I need to get up in 8 hours and 10 minutes.
