I'm glad you got in okay; hr_macgirl and company finally left on the scheduled-for-1810 flight at 2017, after their 1000 flight was cancelled and they didn't have seats for them on the scheduled-for-1357 which actually left at 1516.
In other words, they were sitting at the airport for 10 hours after their originally scheduled departure time. I've flown CDG-JFK, taken a car JFK-LGA, flown LGA-BOS, and arrived at my house in less time than that! (Okay, I did cheat a bit in that the CDG-JFK flight was on AF002.)
