Particular tidbits I like, for entirely selfish reasons:
* You talked a little bit about your "essential internal conflict in life is an Air/Water one." Mine is Air/Earth (if you'll permit the astrological shorthand, I'm an Aquarius with Virgo moon & rising). So glad to see I'm not the only one who's experienced something like this!
* You connect a male deity with horses. I was a horse person when younger, naturally read all about Epona when I came to Paganism, and since then have been trying to shoehorn horses into feminine/goddess energy. Just now I realized that for me, horses are very masculine, and I feel oddly relieved about it!
On the whole, these have been excellent essays, clearly the result of a LOT of time (over the years and through training) thinking about how best to communicate complex issues. I really don't have anything to quibble over!
And I am very interested in a post about moving away from Celtic names for the Sabbats. In my personal practice, I strongly prefer English names like Midsummer over Litha, but it can be sometimes difficult to communicate with other Pagans who are just bent on using the Celtic names. Also kind of weird to find a name for, say, Imbolc if the English name is Candlemas. The "candle" part is relevant, the "mass" part not so much.
