I spent pretty much all of it cleaning the house or napping. But that's okay: I feel much much much better about things now. (I've got a tiny bit more to do: top of my dresser and a pile of square baskets to make order out of.)
Things done include:
- Setting up a new set of wood shelves in the kitchen, as the existing kitchen storage assumes one is substantially taller than I am.
- Moving the kitchen table under the window.
- Moving the shelf that had been under the window to the bathroom, and redistributing the plants.
- Moving the shelf from the bathroom into the bedroom. It now has a plant on it and harp music in it.
- Doing laundry, including the throw rugs and all my bedding.
- Sweeping everything, generally multiple times
- Scrubbing the kitchen and pantry floors
- Moving the harp - in an effort to overcome starting inertia, moved it across the front room so that I can have the stand, chair, and harp more or less in position for playing without much fussing.
Still trying to decide what I want to do with the front room, anyway. Since I've gotten the laptop, I'm inclining to compute/write/etc. sitting on the bed. (The cat Approves Of This Practice) I think I may just give in and do a few more changes to make the front room all-spiritual practice-space-all-the-time (since the altar and harp are there already, this means doing some rearranging of crafting supplies, spinning materials, etc.)
Ok. Now for bath and carding and spinning some of the extra nifty wool. (My birthday present from Marie - with help from friends - was a heavy weight spindle for the cozy shawl I want to do with bulky weight from the fleece I went in with her on last spring.)
