Topic of the week
I'm presenting at a local conference next week (It's the first time I've been invited to present rather than submitting a proposal. Go professional levelling up!) Last night had the predictable conference anxiety dream.
I find them terribly amusing, because I enjoy teaching and presenting, and I tend to be very "Why are we being anxious about this?" about it. My dream was mostly about the more social-management portions of the experience.
(If you're curious about the content, I'll be linking to my notes in a locked post on my journal on Tuesday. I don't cross the streams between me as Jenett and my legal name in public. I am generally very amiable about adding people.)
What I've been up to:
Less than I wanted, alas (I had a routine dentist appointment on Wednesday that made my jaw cranky yesterday), plus trying to keep on top of the daily routine stuff.
House rules:
This is a public post, feel free to encourage other people to drop by, just note the 'if posting anonymously, include a name people can call you in responses' rule.
* Consider this a conversation in my living room, only with a lot more seating. I reserve the right to redirect, screen, and otherwise moderate stuff, but would vastly prefer not to have to.
