Yeah. The thing about the emails is they get filed by person, not by time. (which is really handy in some cases, because of course we have some people with multi-year projects, or who are regular contacts, and it's very handy to see what the other things you said to them are.)
In terms of the records no - and for the electronic stuff, if someone needed paper copy, it'd always be possible to print. (Some of it is question of visual quality, too - part of our collection is things like pamphlet and clippings and magazine files, where the originals are not always printed or duplicated well.)
