I keep eyeing our state conference, but a) my boss needs to be at it and b) it's more public-library-relevant than us.
I found the process of applying for a presentation - I mean, you have to decide you're up for doing one, which is a whole thing. But having run programming in other settings, my basic take is to assume that the people running programming would like a variety of things to choose from, are perfectly capable of saying "No thank you" if they need to, and might in fact want something they haven't heard a dozen times before.)
What I'm trying to decide is whether I'll have enough usable data on the Current Work Project to make a useful presentation for this March or not. (I think maybe yes? And we have a certain amount of "no other school our size is doing this" going for us in terms of "You can do this too, maybe!")
