We used to make film canister first aid kits, which are SUPER TINY as first aid kits go. They contained: -a glove (ALWAYS HAVE GLOVES. ALWAYS ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES IF THE PERSON YOU ARE FIRST-AIDING IS BLEEDING. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT JUST ACCIDENTALLY GOT IN THEIR OPEN WOUND, AND YOUR GERMS IN IT WILL NOT HELP. end loud disclaimer) -a gas station sized two pack of paracetamol or ibuprofen -a single packaged sanitizing wipe -2-3 bandaids -a gauze pad
There are better lists on Google than my brain for more than that, but I also think Benadryl, antibiotic ointment, moleskin (for blisters), and first aid tape are also useful. Also, a cheap dollar store bandana makes an excellent cleaning rag, sling for a broken or sprained arm, cool washcloth for a fever, etc.
