Glad to see I'm not the only history geek that gets peeved at the errors in "Bones". As a descendent of Nathaniel Felton, who was a signatory on a letter of support for Rebecca Nurse, I have a vague knowledge of the trials and as soon as they said her injuries came from pressing I was growling at the TV.
And I notice that there have been remarks about Booth being a direct descendent of John Wilkes Booth. There are no known descendents of J. W. Booth.
