Just wanted to let you know that I've been making nettle and oatstraw infusions and liking them. And I made a rosemary infusion early on and liked that, too, though my googling shows that rosemary can be toxic in large amounts, so will do more googling to figure out safe ratios of water to herb. So, thank you.

Also, made chicken stock more or less as you described (with celery, bc I bought some and then realized I just don't like celery enough and it doesn't have much nutritional value and now I have to use it up). And yes, the bones did crumble, at least on the ends! which is kinda cool (I used drumsticks).

When I get a job, I'll probably spring for a slow-cooker. But right now I have a lot more time than money.
